The 4^th Asian Superconductivity School 2019 (AS³ 2019)

   It is our pleasure to announce the 4^th Asian Superconductivity School (AS³ 2019) which will be held on January 6^th, 2020 at Okinawa Convention Center, Ginowan, Japan. This is the series of summer school starting from the Japan-Korea Superconductivity Summer School (JKSSS) in 2015 at Fukuoka, Japan, then extended to the 1^st Asian Summer School (AS³) in 2016 at Jeju island, Korea, the 2^nd AS³ at Miyazaki, Japan and followed by the 3^rd AS³ at Beijing, China. This year, we will held the school at Okinawa Convention Center as a satellite of the 10^th ACASC/2^nd Asian-ICMC/CSSJ Joint Conference hosted by the Cryogenics and Superconductivity Society of Japan (CSSJ) in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Applied Superconductivity and Cryogenics (KIASC), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the IEEE Council on Superconductivity (CSC). Purpose of this school is to educate students and young researchers, and enhance mutual exchange among Asian superconductivity and cryogenic community. Internationally renowned researchers including plenary speakers of the 10^th ACASC/2^nd Asian-ICMC/CSSJ Joint Conference will deliver their lectures on superconducting materials processing, characterization, power application, and cryogenic engineering in both basic and advanced topics. Graduate course students and young researchers in the superconductivity and/or cryogenics area are very much welcomed. It would be also a very good opportunity for regular members to establish an international network among the Asian superconductivity and cryogenic community. Those who are interested in participating, please register through the conference web-site. You can select the option for the “school” in the registration. We are looking forward to seeing you at Okinawa.
