On-line Exhibition: oVice (past announcement)
We decided to add “oVice” to MT27 virtual platform using “Whova” and “Zoom”. “oVice” allows you to communicate through your avatar with a more in-person-like way among the attendee and exhibitors on the virtual platform. It gives an atmosphere closer to a real conference and exhibition in person, we believe.
MT27 On-line Exhibition (oVice) Demonstration Session (in English) will be held in our demonstration space at
#1 August 6, 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM (JST),
#2 August 7, 00:30 AM – 01:30 AM (JST),
#3 September 3, 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM (JST),
#4 September 4, 00:30 AM – 01:30 AM (JST), #5 September 17, 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM (JST),

Session Support (closed on October 14)
Each supported session will contain the name of the supporter as part of the session title. The supporter’s name, logo and web link will also be projected on the screen at the beginning of each plenary session and verbal acknowledgment will be given by the session moderator.
- Plenary Sessions (JPY 300,000 (one exclusive supporter per one plenary))
Plenary session support contains one exhibitor registration. Applicants can choose supporting session (depending on availability). Plenary session topics/speakers are:
1. Commercial Ultra-High-Field NMR Magnets with HTS Conductors / Robert Herzog (Bruker, Switzerland)[Already Booked!]
2. Muon Colliders and Their Magnet Technology Needs / Mark Palmer (BNL, USA)
3. Overview of Construction and First Commissioning Results of JT-60SA Superconducting Magnets / Haruyuki Murakami (QST, Japan)[Already Booked!]
4. Magnet Technology for Train / Masaru Tomita (RTRI, Japan)
5. Radiation Therapy Systems / Eric Forton (IBA, Belgium)
Young Scientist Plenary Session (JPY 200,000 (one exclusive supporter))[Already Booked!]
The Young Scientist Plenary session is one of the most prestigious opportunities offered to younger scientists and is an event that is highly anticipated by all attending who are interested in the future generations’ direction in magnet technology. The young scientists, who are selected among recommendations made by the Program Committee, have demonstrated outstanding, significant potential in the field of magnet technology and have gained the recognition and interest of other scientists in the community.
Special Session (JPY 160,000 (one exclusive supporter))[Already Booked!]
Special session “Lesson learned” is organized in the evening (JST) on Nov. 17. It is quite important to share the knowledge obtained in a history of superconducting devises such as accelerator, fusion, NMR/MRI, high field magnet and so on. Most improvements and achievements can be found in the literatures. On the other hand, lessons based on the operation and the troubles are not so accessible in spite of those importance. This session focuses on those quite important lessons learned in HTS and LTS devices. Six experts from fusion, accelerator, high field magnet communities are invited. Many attendees are expected in this single session with rare topics. The session organizer is Prof. Pierluigi Bruzzone, PSI, Switzerland.
