Comparison of solid phase shifters of pulse tube refrigerator

Abstract:Comparison with double inlet and inertance tube, gas driving displacer, linear motor driving displacer and moving plug could be called solid phase shifter for pulse tube refrigerator. The fundamental of their moving is compared theoretically from their moment equations. It is shown that displacer with linear motor can move to get the right phase relationship as we want by any rod diameter ratio, while gas driving displacer has one rod diameter ratio to meet the requirement. Moving plug can meet the phase shifting with orifice too.
