Shear strength analysis of indium lap joints of REBCO coated conductors using the v-notched shear test approach

Abstract:In this study the shear strength and failure mechanism of an indium lap joint of REBCO coated conductors are experimentally evaluated using the v-notched geometry in order to apply uniform shear stress. In this presentation, the sample fabrication and test procedure are described, and the results for shear strength and failure mechanism are discussed
