Design of kilowatt cooling power Pulse tube refrigerator

Abstract:In order to make a kilowatt pulse tube refrigerator to version up of the Phillips Stirling refrigerator which is a typical cryogenic refrigerator for over half century, a numerical simulation is done to investigate to the size of the pulse tube and regenerator of a pulse tube refrigerator with a displacer as phase shifter for getting kilowatt cooling power at 77K.
