Ideal and real GM refrigerator

Abstract:An ideal active-buffer pulse tube refrigerator has no intrinsic valve loss, the efficiency is equal to that of no work recovery brayton cycle. The efficiency of an ideal GM refrigerator is equal to Carnot efficiency. So it is possible that the efficiency of the GM refrigerator can be increased more.
