Two coaxial pulse tube coolers have been used in our lab for the purpose of cooling current leads for superconductors. The two coolers share one compressor and work in counter-phase through a common rotary valve. However, temperature instability sometimes happens. It's not good for future applications without clearly knowing the reason. We did a series of experiments to verify the reason for this abnormal cooling behaviour. Conclusion are also given.
