Electrical breakdown characteristics of LN2 for superconducting power apparatus

　 The liquid nitrogen(LN2) cooled superconducting power apparatus need reliable insulating, notwithstanding the non-resistive current flow in the superconductors. Cooling by LN2 instead of helium has in fact a great impact on economics. Also, LN2 is good insulator. Therefore, normal breakdown field strength have been measured assuming various liquid condition.
