Effect of the Pb Doping of the Microstructure and Superconductivity
of BSCCO 2212 Bulks

Intrinsically BSCCO 2212 suffers from weak flux pinning properties above
‾20K. To improve the flux pinning properties Pb added BSCCO 2212 bulks
have been synthesised using partial melt processing in air and microstructure
and properties were studied thoroughly for investigation. Pb addition and
post annealing were shown to be considerable effective to Jc as well as
anisotropy of Bi 2212 Bulks .
